As a Senior Care Assistant at Andover, you will play a key role in helping individuals live independently and with dignity in their own homes. The position involves supporting personal care, assisting with daily routines, and offering companionship. Key responsibilities include providing high-quality personal and domestic care, mentoring new care team members, and maintaining care standards through spot checks. About the role

  • Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
  • Support and mentor new members of the care team.
  • Carry out occasional spot checks to help maintain care standards.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What you will bring

  • Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
  • A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am 10pm and alternating weekends
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work we currently cannot offer sponsorship

Qualifications

Essential
