As a Care Assistant at Barchester Heathcare, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they get the quality care and support they deserve. You will assist with daily living, providing support and companionship, and sharing great moments and memories. This role is varied and rewarding, with tasks that include supporting residents with their food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring each resident has one-on-one time. To join as a Care Assistant, you need some experience caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. Empathy, compassion, and a warm-hearted approach are necessary to deliver high-standard care, with all necessary training provided.
