Trainee Care Home Manager

We are recruiting for a General Manager to join our team; working autonomously, you will oversee the operation of the home including sales, financial management, customer and team engagement, recruitment, and regulatory compliance. You will use your outstanding coaching skills to develop department leaders, delivering exceptional outcomes for customers of the home. For some senior roles, we may look for care experience, but for this role we just want the right character, attitude and general leadership experience – we’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities for the General Manager Role include

Maintenance of occupancy, understanding the fee structure and maximising category income.Working towards achieving 'Outstanding' with CQCOverseeing and auditing various departments including; hotel services, care services, catering & housekeeping etc.Confidently identify and efficiently manage challenges and conflict, empowering the team to do the sameActively reviews guest feedback and insight reports, creating action plans that will improve the guest experienceProfessionally deliver training and coach the team effectively in line with brand standards.Maximise revenue opportunities, control departmental costings and minimise wasteEnsure the home is safe and secure at all times, putting the health and safety of colleagues and customers at the forefront of what you do.Responsible in ensuring that the pro-active maintenance program is completed to the brand standard.

Previous experience of motivating, engaging and exercising leadershipStrong business acumen and commercial understanding of running a businessExperience in implementing action plans for improvements.
