We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Essential: - Possess an HCPC accredited degree
Knowledge

- Some knowledge of laboratory investigations, processes and procedures Knowledge of laboratory safety, including infectious diseases, COSHH, spillages, waste disposal
- Computer and keyboard skills together with experience of common software packages
- Ability to work accurately from written protocols
Further Training
Essential: - Prepared to follow in service training course
Experience
Essential
- Capable of frequent and extended periods of concentration
- Ability to work accurately and to show attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Desirable: - Experience of working in a Diagnostic Laboratory
Contractual Requirements
Essential
- Willingness to work with potentially infectious substances (with appropriate H&S guidance)
- Demonstrably able to cope with workload peaks and demands or other pressures
