Team Leader - Antenatal Ward and Maternity

The role requires direct management of a team of midwives and maternity support workers.

The jobholder is responsible for the ward/department clinical budget as determined by finance for each year.

The Jobholder will have responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the maternity ward/department). They will provide clinical and professional management and leadership for the team. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care are maintained to a high standard. They will manage the administrative and financial aspects of Ward/department and ensuring cost effective use of resources.
