To deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions, these could include one to one, drop in, group sessions, telephone, or on-line support, these must be in accordance with the NCSCT Standard Treatment Programme.Engage with Service Users and provide smoking cessation advice and support to smokers in the community, using both Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and behavioural change techniquesWhen needed, assist in delivering and promoting community health events and awareness campaigns across Essex to raise awareness about smoking cessation servicesTo work with other professionals to embed smoking cessation as part of routine client care.Maximise the impact of smoking cessation on health gains and reduce health inequalities within the community.

Qualifications
Essential: - NCSCT Level 2 practitioner
Desirable: - Making Every Contact Count training
Experience
Essential
- Evidence of working in public health and in the community
- Proven track record of engagement with people on both an individual level and in group settings
- Experience of multi-agency working
Personal Attributes & Circumstances
Essential: - Car owner/driver or ability to travel independently
