The main role of the post is to prepare and oversee clinics, this will involve ensuring they are running efficiently, using the resources available, supporting clinicians and anticipating their requirements.

We are responsible for ensuring all our patients are appraised of any further treatments or and investigations and ensure they are well informed about each step.
Outpatient staff are expected to work as a team and support the plaster room as required.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
- Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Diploma/degree in nursing studies or working towards
Desirable
- Undertaken mentorship training /Assessor/supervisor training
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Relevant experience in past of looking after patients in a healthcare environment.
Desirable
- Previous NHS experience within last 12 months
- Previous experience within an Acute setting
- Broad clinical knowledge base in orthopaedics
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Compassionate
- Confident and calm attitude with the ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- IT skills
- Accurate document presentation and attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Motivated and enthusiastic, shows initiative
