An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our multidisciplinary team as a Specialist Nurse. This role has been...

You will play a key role in supporting the Haemophilia - Bleeding Disorders service, contributing to:

o delivery of specialist nursing care to children and young people with bleeding disorders;

o supporting patient and family education, including home treatment and self-management;

o assisting the management of acute bleeding and urgent patient queries;

o supporting the inpatient nursing team when children and young people with bleeding disorders are admitted; and

o contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

To be considered for this role you must have current registration with the NMC and excellent CYP clinical skills. It is desirable to have demonstrable knowledge and experience within haemophilia - bleeding disorders. This is a challenging and demanding role, and we are looking for an individual who is ready for the next move in their career and demonstrates a desire to deliver a positive patient experience.
