'We care We communicate We collaborate We contribute'Based in the Endoscopy Department the post holder will be part of a team of technicians responsible for the reprocessing of Endoscopes and associated medical devices to include the automated Endoscopy reprocessors and accessories.
The post holder will adhere to all standards and policies relevant to the working area.
There may be a requirement to work within the Sterile Services Department once trained.

Qualifications and knowledge
Essential
- General standard of education - GCSE (A - C) or equivalent in 3 subjects
- Basic IT skills
- Understanding of a range of work procedures and practices, some of which are non-routine, which require a base level of theoretical knowledge. This is normally acquired through formal training or equivalent experience
Desirable: - E-Learning decontamination
Experience
Desirable: - Previous experience in a decontamination environment; - Experience of working with delicate equipment

- Ability to work accurately to achieve deadlines
