Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management:
Supervise and line-manage a team of up to 8 FTE staff, including Grade 7 Social Workers, Grade 5 Community Care Assistants, and agency workers. Oversee staff development by conducting annual performance conversations, identifying training needs, managing absences, and driving performance improvements. Lead recruitment and selection activities to onboard new team members.
Service Delivery & Practice
QualityManage daily capacity and demand by overseeing the efficient allocation of work and managing office workflows. Ensure high-quality, person-centered care that strictly aligns with statutory obligations, SSSC registration standards, and EHSCP policies. Drive model implementation, actively promoting and embedding the Home First and Three Conversations models of engagement. Audit and monitor service quality using recognized improvement methods, and present findings to senior management.
Decision Making & Resource Management
Guide legal and clinical decision-making regarding adult support and protection, adults with incapacity, and risk management. Manage budgets and resources, including authorising payments for people in need, oversight of office funds, and participating in resource allocation boards. Handle complex communications, responding to service inquiries/complaints and representing the Partnership at multi-agency meetings.
