Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker seeking a rewarding statutory role in West Yorkshire with manageable caseloads and hybrid working flexibility? We are currently recruiting a skilled Senior Social Worker to join a dedicated Children's Locality Team based in Wakefield. Offering a competitive pay rate of £35.00 per hour, this role stands out for its realistic, manageable workload-keeping caseloads at around 24 per Social Worker-allowing you to deliver meaningful, high-quality interventions with children and families. Key Responsibilities:
Complex Case Management: Manage a statutory caseload (~24) of complex Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) cases across the Wakefield district.
Specialist Assessments: Complete robust, timely Single Assessments, risk management plans, and outcome-focused care plans.

What We Are Looking For: Professional Registration: Active registration with Social Work England (SWE).
Core Experience: Significant post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker in a statutory Children's Locality, Safeguarding, or Family Support team.
Legal Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and relevant court frameworks.

Why Apply?
