Senior Occupational Therapist

This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take a senior clinical position within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will manage a complex paediatric caseload across clinic, school and community settings, providing specialist assessment, evidence-based intervention and clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of care.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of the service through clinical supervision, mentoring and quality improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Clinical Director and wider multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development, promote best practice and support the professional growth of junior colleagues. You will build strong collaborative relationships with families, schools and external professionals to help children and young people achieve meaningful outcomes, maximise their independence and participate fully in everyday life.

Deliver comprehensive assessments and therapy

interventions for a diverse paediatric caseload within the clinic setting

Develop and implement individualised treatment

plans based on clinical need and evidence-based practice

Produce high-quality clinical reports,

recommendations and outcome measures

Support children and young people presenting

with a wide range of developmental, sensory, communication and

neurodevelopmental needs

Work collaboratively with families, carers and

other professionals involved in the child's care

Provide clinical supervision, guidance and

support to junior therapists

Assist with the induction, mentoring and

professional development of newly qualified and junior clinicians

Support the Clinical Director and management

team with day-to-day clinic operations and service development initiatives

Contribute to maintaining high clinical

standards, governance requirements and best practice across the team

Participate in multidisciplinary discussions,

case reviews and team meetings

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

in accordance with HCPC and professional standards
