All about our Team

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative Therapy Service within Adult Social Care. The team works closely with colleagues across health, social care, housing, and the voluntary and independent sectors to achieve practical, timely outcomes for people living in the community. You will have access to professional guidance and opportunities to develop and share specialist knowledge.

  • A welcoming team committed to person-centred and strengths-based practice.
  • Regular supervision, appraisal and continuing professional development.
  • Opportunities to lead on an area of professional interest, support colleagues and shape service improvements.

You will be a qualified, HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with sound professional judgement and the confidence to work independently with complex situations. You will bring a practical, compassionate approach, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective support.

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, housing and moving and handling legislation, and relevant professional standards.
  • Experience of assessment, intervention planning, equipment provision and housing adaptations in a community setting.

  • A flexible and reflective approach, with a commitment to learning, teamwork and continuous improvement.

We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer, dedicated to fostering diversity, advancing equity, and building an inclusive workplace for everyone.
