You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
Provide safe, person-centred nursing care tailored to individual needs, working closely with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team. Assess, plan, deliver and regularly review care, maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns appropriately. Act as Nurse in Charge, Bed Manager or Site Co-ordinator when required, prioritising and delegating duties effectively and supervising nursing and HCA staff. Support junior, agency and student nurses, maintain mandatory training and professional development, and participate in clinical governance, supervision and reflective practice. Promote safeguarding and compliance with the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, medicines management, Priory policies and the NMC Code, while managing challenging behaviour safely and professionally.

Priory Hospital Barnt Green, Barnt Green, Birmingham is a purpose-built hospital providing mental health support for adults and young people, including specialist therapy and psychiatry, as well as private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with Barnt Green railway station approximately 12 miles from the hospital and local bus routes serving the surrounding area. Due to the semi-rural location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
Essential: - Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with an active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme
Desirable: - Experience working in a PICU setting
