Senior Clinical Support Worker

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Nursing Assistant Band 3 that has a caring nature and skills to care for a complex group of patients that include both pre and postoperative care. Patients undergoing potentially lifechanging surgery. Therefore you are required to have previous care experience and have an understanding of the Proud to Care document and its importance in maintaining safety and Quality.

You are required to cover a 24hour period, therefore, the post holder is required to work both day and night shifts.

You need to be able to prioritise your workload and work well within the Team on the ward area. Good communication skills are essential and a Professional attitude to patient care.

As a Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker you may be required to carry out and perform a range of clinical based skills inconjunction with the above key areas/tasks. These Skills have been pre-mapped and approved by UHNM for this role and will be supported by completion of a robustUHNM competency package that will be accompanied by education packages delivered by both the Care Coach Team andother UHNM educators across the Trust who specialise in the training of these specific skills.
