As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care through a combination of face-to-face consultations and telephone assessments. You will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment and follow-up where required.
You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nurses, ANPs, pharmacists, and paramedics, to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records using EMIS Web will form an important part of your daily work.
The role also involves contributing to practice clinical discussions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining high clinical standards in line with current guidelines. There will be opportunities to develop specialist interests and contribute to specialist clinics, depending on your individual skills and interests.

we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed salaried gp to join our well established and supportive practice team you will work in a modern primary care environment designed to provide safe high quality and patient centred care while ensuring gp workload remains manageable and sustainable
this role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a strong multidisciplinary team supported by effective clinical systems and administrative processes that enable gps to focus on clinical care
the practice is committed to maintaining a sustainable and manageable workload a typical clinical day consists of
morning session twelve patient appointments and three telephone consultations
afternoon session twelve patient appointments and two telephone consultations
flexible start and finish times available
there is no on call requirement as part of this role
the practice also operates specialist clinics and offers opportunities for gps to develop and utilise specialist interests where appropriate
you will work as part of a highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team including
salaried gps
advanced nurse practitioners
practice nurses
healthcare assistants
physician associate
clinical prescribing pharmacists
paramedics managing the majority of home visits
dedicated clinical administrative team
the clinical administrative team plays a key role in reducing gp workload by assisting with document management administrative tasks and workflow optimisation

the practice uses emis web as its clinical system and has efficient digital workflows in place to support safe effective and streamlined patient care
Located in Southport, our practice serves approximately 10,000 patients and is supported by a highly skilled and collaborative multidisciplinary team. Our clinical team includes four Salaried GPs, ANPs, practice nurses, HCAs, a physician associate, prescribing pharmacists, and paramedics who manage most home visits, ensuring GP time is used effectively.
We have a dedicated clinical administrative team in place specifically to reduce GP workload, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care rather than paperwork. Our practice uses efficient systems and workflows designed to support both patient access and clinician wellbeing.
