An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join the Safeguarding, MCA and Learning Disability Team ...
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Safeguarding Adults, Children, MCA and Learning Disability Teams thereby assisting in the provision of a quality service to all staff including but not limited to minute taking, telephone cover, processing confidential information on our electronic patient information system.
This list is not exhaustive and the successful applicant will be required to be flexible to the needs of the service.
- To provide a high quality, professional and comprehensive administrative support to the Safeguarding Adults, Children, Maternity, MCA and Learning Disability Teams thereby assisting in the provision of a quality service to all staff including data input, dealing with telephone calls and emails, collating research information for meetings, adding and updating eRecord RAPA alerts, management of electronic diaries and meetings, formal and informal minute taking.
- Contribute to a comprehensive efficient and effective administration and clerical service to the Safeguarding Teams, MCA, Maternity and Learning Disability Teams.
- Provide cover and assistance in the department for other administrators as required.

Qualifications & Training
Essential
- RSA 3 or equivalent
- Administration procedures
- IT skills to include office software packages
- English Language 4 or above
Desirable
- NHS secretarial experience
- NHS systems e.g. eRecord, SystmOne
- Minute Taking
Skills, Knowledge & Aptitude

- Deal with telephone enquiries directly or ensure the efficient transfer to ensure prompt & efficient action
- Liaise with other Teams and agencies
- Exchange complex information verbally, electronically and in writing
