To manage own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner with appropriate clinical supervision.
To consolidate and develop clinical and non-clinical expertise.
To be responsible for own CPD and own Professional and Personal Development.
To work effectively within the team, department and organisation
To contribute to service education, audit and research programmes.
To participate in adult respiratory, orthopaedic and paediatric weekend working and on-call.

Qualifications

Essential: - Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.; - Health Professions Council registration.

Desirable: - CSP membership; - Maximum score on clinical placements; - Degree classification upper second class honours or above (or equivalent

Experience

Essential

Knowledge of assessment and treatment methods, including psychosocial
Wide range of experience in training /clinical placements
Experience in use of risk assessment in a variety of areas
Experience in a clinical setting of application of professional standards and codes of conduct
Experience of using evidence based practice
Liaison with professional colleagues, patient's relatives and carers in a variety of settings.
Computer skills

Desirable: - Recent junior experience in a structured rotational scheme.; - Knowledge of clinical governance issues in relation to patient care; - Group teaching skills
