Reporting Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Performing transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound scans for all types of obstetric and gynaecology scans.

Reporting findings and making appropriate referrals to multidisciplinary team as well as communicating findings to patients.

Performing and reporting ultrasound scans for obstetrics, including screening for nuchal translucency , anomaly , growth scans, early pregnancy and gynaecology scans.

Education, Qualifications & Training

Essential: - Educated to a minimum of 1st degree level; - CASE accredited qualification in medical ultrasound; - DQASS or FMF accreditation in 1st trimester screening

Desirable: - MSc or MA; - Qualified Radiographer; - Registered Midwife

Experience

Essential: - Post graduate ultrasound experience; - Participated in Audit Process

Desirable: - Leadership experience; - Experience in facilitation, teaching, assessing, and coaching
