To provide Anaesthesia care/assistance and develop skills through rotation through Anaesthetic areas.

Work towards the highest standards of patient care in Anaesthesia to reflect the standards and values of the Local Health Board.

Support the Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead to develop and implement policies and procedures.

Support the Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead on duty in providing a safe, effective and efficient delivery of the service.

Support the development of students within the area.

Occasionally required to ensure an effective service in the absence of a Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead.

This post is advertised as Welsh Essential. Candidates need to demonstrate Welsh Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. This isn't 'fluency'. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care and answering routine questions. If you're comfortable holding everyday conversations in Welsh, we encourage you to apply. Your Welsh language skills will help us provide person-centred care and enable patients to receive services in their language of choice. Qualifications/Knowledge

Essential

  • An understanding of peri operative patient care

Desirable

  • Listed evidence of relevant CPD

Experience or Knowledge

  • Theatre experience or knowledge

Desirable

  • Anaesthetic Experience
  • Welsh language speaking/listening skills at a Level 3 or above
