As a Staff Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to a defined group of patients, working collaboratively with patients, families, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, deliver and regularly review individualised care, acting as a named nurse and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role involves prioritising and delegating nursing duties, promoting equality and dignity, supporting the management of behaviours of concern, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty requirements. You will maintain high professional standards through mandatory training, clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development, while adhering to the NMC Code and Priory policies and procedures.

Ayr Clinic, Ayr, is a low secure mental health service for males and females with a mental health diagnosis and/or personality disorder. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
Essential
- Qualified Registered Nurse with active NMC Registration.
- Knowledge of NMC Standards, guidelines, requests and professional practices. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise.
- Excellent verbal , interpersonal and written communication skills
