Using recovery, enablement and Psychological, Adversity and Trauma-Informed approaches, you will provide practical, compassionate support that promotes choice, safety and independence.
You will be compassionate, curious and solution-focused, with experience supporting adults with mental health needs and related practical or social barriers, strong, flexible engagement and communication skills, knowledge of recovery, enablement, safeguarding, risk assessment and psychologically informed practice, the ability to manage a varied caseload, work with partners and maintain accurate records.

Help people address housing, financial, health, isolation and caring-related challenges
Manage risk and safeguarding concerns, and connect people with appropriate community and statutory support

Experience
Essential
- Experience of supporting adults with mental health needs and associated social or practical barriers, which may include housing insecurity, substance misuse, offending, poverty, isolation, physical health needs or caring responsibilities.
- Experience of outreach or floating-support work, demonstrating persistence, flexibility and a range of approaches in supporting people to engage voluntarily.
- Proven ability to build relationships, and to work collaboratively and successfully in a team environment across sectors and agencies
- Proven ability to promote and apply good practice in equality and diversity
- Ability to apply proportionate risk assessment, safety planning and safe-working practices when supporting people.
