Based at the St Marks Hospital Same Day Service, the Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a friendly, professional ...
successful candidate will be computer and IT literate, with strong
organisational and communication skills, the ability to prioritise workload
effectively and a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
They will be friendly, approachable, adaptable and able to support clinicians
and colleagues with a range of administrative and operational tasks as
required.
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous and welcoming manner.
- Check patients in for appointments using the EMIS clinical system.
- Ensure patient demographics are accurate and updated where necessary.
- Respond to patient enquiries in person, by telephone and electronically.
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations and amendments in accordance with service protocols.
- Direct patients to the appropriate clinician or service.

Experience
Essential: - Computer and IT literacy
