To considered for this position you will require the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems are essential
  • Ideally experience working within a busy reception or customer-facing environment
  • The successful candidate will be flexible with their availability to support service needs
  • Good standard of education, including Maths and English, along with experience working in a customer service role
  • Previous reception experience is desirable, and experience within primary care would be beneficial, although this is not essential
  • Experience using SystmOne would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a friendly, caring, and positive approach towards patients and colleagues

Riverside Health Centre cares for approximately 6,500 patients. Care is provided by three GP partners, one salaried GP, one nurse practitioner, one paramedic, two practice nurses, and two healthcare assistants.

We are a close-knit and supportive team who work collaboratively to provide the best possible care to our diverse patient population.

We also work closely with four local practices as part of the Stour Estuary Primary Care Network (PCN).

Please note this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Experience

Essential
