- To deputise for the senior in charge of the unit when required
- Provide clear instructions, guidance and advice to patients and their carers with respect to treatment procedures, side-effects and follow-up appointments.
- Supervise student radiographers and Apprentice Radiographers on clinical and elective placement.
- To support the relevant team leader in the day to day management of patient flow, assisting in the organisation and the management of the clinical workload.
- Provide high quality individualised treatment and care to all patients.
- Act with integrity and professionalism at all times and to act as a role model to junior staff members and students.

Qualifications
Essential: - BSc (hons) Radiotherapy (or equivalent); - HCPC registration; - Evidence of CPD activity
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience as a Radiographer
- Good experience of working across a range of treatment delivery and planning activities within the Radiotherapy Department
Desirable: - Experience of Elekta and Halcyon Linacs; - Experience of Brachytherapy; - Experience of Toshiba CT
