We are looking to recruit a part-time receptionist to join our reception team within the Radiology Department. The role will encompass dealing with pa...
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors dealing with routine enquiries and act as necessary liaising with others as appropriate.
- Booking in patients for their appointments.
- Processing of referrals in line with Departmental guidelines.
- Maintain an efficient and comprehensive administrative service, including photocopying, providing support to the departments and other team members as requested.
- Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. These systems may include IPM, CRRS, Opera, CRIS, Ultra, Respond, IMPAC etc.
- Maintain both manual and electronic filing systems and databases, as required by the department and Trust policies, ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately archive.

Qualifications
Essential
- RSA/OCR II or equivalent typing/word processing
- Key Skills Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent
Experience
Essential
- Experience in customer facing role.
- Experience in working in a busy administrative environment
Knowledge
Essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good understanding of general office procedures
Desirable
- Awareness of current issues within the NHS
Skills

- Maintains a prominent level of accuracy.
- Good level of verbal and written communication
- Good organisation skills
