Experience
Essential
- Demonstrate experience in a senior post
- Experience in multi-disciplinary staff working
- Experience of working with acutely ill patients
- Experience of working independently
- Experience in education of staff
Knowledge
Essential
- Excellent Communication skills with clear written and oral skills
- Effective organisational abilities, supervisory skills, leadership and change management skills
- Awareness of current health service priorities, national and local nursing and quality agenda
Qualifications
Essential
- Current Professional Registration
- Degree level Qualification
- Teaching/ Mentorship Qualification
- Evidence of Ongoing Professional Development
Desirable
- Qualified in Non-Medical Prescribing (v300) If applicable for the ACPs Role
- Msc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (Essential if Inpatient or UECC ACP, Desirable if Community or non-inpatient ACP)
