Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrate experience in a senior post
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary staff working
  • Experience of working with acutely ill patients
  • Experience of working independently
  • Experience in education of staff

Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent Communication skills with clear written and oral skills
  • Effective organisational abilities, supervisory skills, leadership and change management skills
  • Awareness of current health service priorities, national and local nursing and quality agenda

Qualifications

Essential

  • Current Professional Registration
  • Degree level Qualification
  • Teaching/ Mentorship Qualification
  • Evidence of Ongoing Professional Development

Desirable

  • Qualified in Non-Medical Prescribing (v300) If applicable for the ACPs Role
  • Msc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (Essential if Inpatient or UECC ACP, Desirable if Community or non-inpatient ACP)
