The post-holder will work within the NHS Talking Therapies service providing high volume low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions service to patients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
- Assess and supports people with a common mental health problem in the self management of their recovery.
- Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high volume low - intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided self-help, computerised CBT, and delivering courses. This work may be face to face, telephone or via other media.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

- Demonstrates high standards in written communication.

- Able to evaluate and put in place the effect of training.
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone skills
- Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Demonstrates and understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in primary care
