The post holder will take personal responsibility for providing an excellent service to patients, visitors and staff in the Private Patient Units (PMU...
- Manning reception desk: Answering telephone calls/emails, meeting and greeting all users of the PPU, Uploading clinics onto Cerner and checking patients in/out of clinic, liaising with Consultants, secretaries and nurses, booking elective work onto excel spreadsheets and computer systems.
- You will need to be a confident communicator and have good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Be friendly and have an approachable manner and can do approach.
- Ability to work as a team and also on your own and able to prioritise your workload.

Education and qualifications
Essential
- Literacy and numeracy skills, demonstrable to GCSE (or equivalent) standard
- Good keyboard skills and basic computer literacy skills
Desirable
- NVQ in customer service
- Good standard of written and spoken English
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a busy environment
- Proven ability to be able to deliver high levels of productivity whist working to tight deadlines
- Experience in complaint management
Desirable
- Experience in customer service
- Experience of working in a private Hospital or healthcare setting
Skills and knowledge

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Confident communicator, especially over the phone
