- Deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Conduct pre-admission screening in line with Horder Centre policies and protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide clear, appropriate information and support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to and promote infection prevention and control standards.
- Take responsibility for ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competencies.
- Support, supervise, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Participate in training, meetings, and learning opportunities to enhance practice.
- Maintain professional accountability in line with the NMC Code.
- Act as a positive ambassador for The Horder Centre and the nursing profession.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Escalate and document incidents, accidents, and complaints appropriately.
- Support efficient use of departmental resources and contribute to service improvement.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and foster strong working relationships across teams and external organisations.

Essential: - Post registration experience within an acute hospital setting; - Evidence of ongoing personal development; -
Desirable: - Clinical experience in orthopaedics, pre-assessment and a mentorship qualification will set you apart from the rest
