You will move patients by bed, wheelchairs, and trolleys, change medical gases, collect blood products, take specimens to the pathology lab, take deceased to the mortuary and full training will be provided.
You will also need to be flexible as we are a 24/7 department 365 days of the year
Be familiar with appropriate Health and Safety Policies and Procedure
Take reasonable care of yourself and anybody who may be affected by your actions / non-actions
Co-operate with the Trust in maintaining suitable standards of Health and Safety including adhering to all Trust Policies and Procedures, always work in compliance with rules and working practices.
Report all unsafe situations, incidents and accidents to your supervisor or Manager.
Participate in training as appropriate and put your skills and knowledge into practice.Training will be identified and carried out to fulfil the requirements of this job description
Any other duties as appropriate to the grade that may be determined from time to time.
