Using your clinical expertise and sound professional judgement, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, patients, carers, social care partners, and third-sector organisations to support individuals to achieve their goals, maximise independence, and remain at home wherever possible. You will undertake holistic assessments, develop tailored care and therapy plans, and deliver interventions that address patients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, behavioural, sensory, and environmental needs.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge across a variety of clinical areas, including neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, respiratory, falls, and care of older people. You will also contribute to service improvement initiatives, support effective information management and data quality, and work alongside team leaders and managers to enhance the delivery of integrated community services across Coventry.

Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma/degree in physiotherapy
- Evidence of post-graduate education E.g. Post graduate diploma/training relevant to physical conditions or equivalent experience
- Current HCPC Registration
Desirable: - oMCSP oSpecial Interest Group Member in related subject
Experience
Essential
- Documented evidence of Continuing professional development
- Significant post graduate clinical experience with good basic training/post graduate rotations (or within a community / intermediate care setting)
- Experience of Health & Safety/ Risk management
- Evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Supervision of junior staff and students
- Leadership and first line management experience
- Experience in change management
- Community experience
- Experience of audit and/or research
Knowledge
Essential
- Specialist knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions relevant to client group
- Understanding of outcome measures
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of clinical governance in relation to physiotherapy
