You will be an NMC registered RMN/RN (Mental Health) with a keen interest in perinatal mental health.
You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside professionals who strive to provide high quality care to mothers, alongside their babies and partners.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
- RMN Qualification
Desirable
- Hold mentorship qualification
- Trained in clinical supervision
Experience
Essential
- Have an active interest in perinatal services
Desirable
- Previous experience working with families
- Previous experience working within an acute mental health setting
- Previous experience working within perinatal services
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold a working knowledge of CPA and legal frameworks and legislation relating to mental health care.
- Be able to work in a patient centred, safe and evidence based manner
- Be able to plan, delegate, prioritise and deliver care in line with the needs of the ward
- Be able to recognise and respond to behaviours that challenge in a compassionate and least restrictive manner
- Be able to evidence an ongoing commitment to learning
Desirable
- Demonstrate knowledge of current perinatal national drivers and their implication for practice
- Be prepared to lead on an area of interest , develop appropriate audit tools, resources and training for the team
- Have knowledge of relevant attachment and infant mental health theory
