The successful candidate should be friendly, professional, organised, proactive and patient focused. The role is almost entirely ward based, using a laptop throughout the day to access the electronic prescribing system. The role also involves manual handling; occasional lifting boxes and the need to move from ward to dispensary frequently throughout the day.
Previous experience of working in a pharmacy would be beneficial but not essential as all training can be provided for the right candidate.
