  • Managing complex diaries and calendars for senior leaders.
  • Organising virtual, hybrid and face-to-face meetings.
  • Preparing agendas, distributing meeting papers and taking accurate minutes.
  • Monitoring actions and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation and logistics as required.
  • Supporting inbox management and prioritising correspondence.
  • Liaising with internal teams, NHS partners and external organisations.
  • Assisting with reports, projects, service development initiatives and staff engagement activities.
  • Supporting induction programmes for new managers and medical staff.
  • Building effective relationships across the hospital and wider Practice Plus Group network

As PA to the Hospital Director, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Hospital Director and Senior Management Team, including the Medical Director, Head of Nursing & Clinical Services, Finance Manager and other senior stakeholders. You'll play a vital role in coordinating complex diaries, supporting meetings, maintaining key relationships and ensuring the effective flow of information across the hospital. Confidentiality, professionalism and excellent communication skills are essential. The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week split across 5 days (Monday-Friday).   • Previous administration or PA experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience of working with confidential information.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work independently.
  • High attention to detail with accurate record keeping and correspondence management.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong influencing, listening and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within a healthcare setting and event organisation would be advantageous.
