Regional Hyperacute Rehabilitation unit is looking to recruit an Nursing Associate to complement and join our nursing team. The post holder will work ...

  • The post holder will be involved in the delivery of nursing care with the level of knowledge, skill and competence beyond that of a traditional healthcare assistant.
  • Working under indirect supervision, as part of the nursing team, the post holder will have responsibility for delivering nursing care to patients within a delegated caseload.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary working and the development, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of health care services.
  • Work within a scope of practice under the direction or supervision of the registered Nurse within relevant legal and ethical frameworks and in accordance with organisational protocols and policies.
  • Work under indirect supervision following the written care plans and care pathways devised by the registered nurse, in order to deliver nursing care and support to patients and relatives/carers.
  • To accept clinical responsibility for managing a delegated caseload as appropriate to grade and experience.
  • Demonstrate self- directed development and practice.
  • Works co-operatively with others in the ward in ensuring good inter-disciplinary team work.

Education / Qualification

Essential

  • Completed a Nurse |Training Qualification
  • Care Certificate / level 5
  • Associate Practitioner

Desirable

  • Nursing associate qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Previous Healthcare experience at band 3
  • Previous work as an overseas nurse
  • Work in a health care setting

Desirable

  • work in the NHS

Skills and Abilities

Essential

  • Able to communicate both in written and oral
  • IT literate
  • teamplayer

Desirable

  • Excellent IPR
  • Ability to seek advice
