Primary care 24 (PC24) is looking for a Management Accountant who will work within the Finance Team supporting Primary Care 24 business areas by deliv...
Assisting in the preparation of financial
statements, reports annual budgets and forecasts.
Conducting financial analysis
to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
improvement.
Owning the preparation of annual budgets, create
quarterly forecasting and lead budget holder meetings.
Investigating variances, and monitoring
KPIs.
Supporting continuous improvement including
assisting with the development and production of meaningful and simple
dashboard reporting.
Produce monthly and ad hoc reports.
Prepare and support in re-charges and
invoices.
Support the financial
modelling, forecasting and business planning process. Production of
ad-hoc costings and contributing robust financial information into
business cases. Assess and challenge the assumptions where appropriate.
Provide support to project groups
as required
Calculation and posting of monthly transactions
(Accruals, Prepayments, Depreciation etc.)
Take a
proactive, problem-solving approach in helping support people to
connect and access services
Strong ability to manage daily workloads,
prioritise multiple deadlines and requests in addition to managing the
expectation of the senior finance team ensuring deadlines and key reporting
time frames are met.

preparation of key deliverables
Salary: £39,331.00 - £55,890.00 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Full time (37.5 hours) permanent contract

Qualifications
Essential
- Qualified or Almost Qualified Accountant
- Desire to study with professional accounting body to qualification.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information.
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload and work to tight and often changing timescales.
- Proficient in MS Office. Particularly MS Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables etc)
