Maintenance Operative

As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the building and grounds are well-maintained. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, checking services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure all facilities are fully functional. You will also be responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, both inside and outside the care home. Additional duties include supporting new residents in arranging their rooms, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken to maintain high standards, advising on the supply and quality of items used, and providing out-of-hours emergency service as part of the on-call rota.
