As a Kitchen Assistant at Barchester care home, you will help provide first-class food and hospitality to give residents exceptional care and support. A nutritious diet is vital for residents' wellbeing, making the Kitchen Assistant role crucial. You'll help produce meals and create a fulfilling dining experience. The role allows interactions with residents to enhance their experience and develop your skills. The schedule alternates weekly with shifts from 08:30am to 18:00. We're looking for someone committed to high standards in kitchen and food prep. Reliability, consideration, and a caring approach are key. A healthy, nutritious diet is vital to ensuring our residents' wellbeing and helping them enjoy daily life with us, which is why the role of Kitchen Assistant is so important. You'll help to produce meals and create a fulfilling dining experience for every resident. You'll be an asset to your colleagues and your impact will reach beyond the kitchen too. There'll be plenty of opportunities for you to get to know our residents, enhance their hospitality experience and develop your skills.
Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

ABOUT YOUWhen you join us as a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in the success of your care home. You should be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach. Formal qualifications aren't necessary, although any similar experience gained in a commercial or care setting would be useful.
