Housekeeping Assistant

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham, your main responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect. You will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and high standards of the home, operating according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry. Your work will involve ensuring all areas are well presented, maintained in good condition, and that residents' personal space and belongings are always respected. You will join a close-knit team in an environment committed to exceptional care, learning, and development. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments, along with experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
