Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated and friendly team in the Trauma and Orthopaedics ward D2 for Band 2 Housekeeper. D2 ward is 1...
- To ensure the bed space is prepared prior to patients arriving on the ward so that the area is safe and presentable to the patient i.e. checking the area has been cleaned and bed linen is clean andmade.
- Assist with the ordering and serving of patient meals to ensure all patients receive appropriate nutrition while on the ward.
- Report any damaged/ faulty equipment to the works department and co-ordinate any maintenance work/requests for work to aid in the smooth running of the ward
- Maintain ward stocks of linen by communicating with linen services to ensure appropriate levels of linen are available on the ward and ensure the linen received is of good quality and stored/disposed of in line with trust policies.
