Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in Stroke and Neurology

oConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, neurological conditions, and rehabilitation needs.

o Develop tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic interventions.

o Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance patients' mobility, coordination, strength, and overall function both on the Stroke Recovery Unit and within the patient's own residence.

Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Nurses, and Clinical Psychologists and to delegate specific tasks to non-registrant support staff to provide goal-orientated holistic care.

o Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

o Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.

o Contribute to the development of departmental policies, protocols, and research initiatives.
