You will be responsible for the delivery of health visiting services to a defined corporate caseload within Derby City, working within the 0-19 framework ensuring a seamless service to the family as appropriate and working collaboratively with partner agencies.
You will lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme as defined within the service specification, identifying packages of care based on the Universal, Targeted and Specialist models of service delivery. You will provide leadership and supervision to other members of the team and work within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Essential: - SCPHN; - Registered nurse/midwife
Desirable: - SASS or equivalent
Skills
Essential
- evidence of leadership

- ability to work in a multi-disciplinary agency way
- ability to be a proactive and innovative practitioner
- good computer skills
Desirable: - experience of working a corporate case load; - experience of leading a skill mix team
Knowlewdge & experience
Essential
- Excellent understanding of Health visiting and the 0-19 health agenda
- excellent knowledge of local and national public health agenda
- excellent understanding and experience in safe guarding children and young people
Desirable: - extensive knowledge of safe guarding children and young people; - clinical supervision experience
Pesronal
Essential: - demonstate a flexible approach to work; - supportive to clients and colleagues; - commitment to developing Public Health Nursing
