You will be welcoming children and families to the department, supporting Consultant and Nurse led clinics, performing clinical observations and supporting our nursing team with investigations and procedures. You will be expected to take bloods after appropriate training. As well as being a great team player, were looking for someone who is flexible, has initiative and excellent communication skills and will take pride in ensuring the department is maintained to a high standard
This is a Trustwide
role so whilst you'll be predominantly based at UHND , you will be required to
travel to Darlington Memorial, Bishop Auckland, Chester-le-Street Hospitals and
Stanley Primary Care centre; you must be able to travel independently across
site

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience.
- Care Certificate or willingness to complete within first 6 months of commencement in post.
- GCSE equivalent in English and Mathematics.
