We have an exciting opportunity to join our partnership at Fell Cottage Surgery. We are a thriving partnership who own our Grade 2 listed building in ...
- Providing high-quality, safe and comprehensive primary medical care to the practice population.
- Managing acute and chronic conditions, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, referrals and appropriate follow-up.
- Participating in duty doctor, triage, home visiting and other practice clinical services as required (negotiable)
- Taking shared responsibility for the financial, operational and strategic management of the practice.
- Providing clinical and organisational leadership, including workforce planning, staff management, recruitment and service development.
- Ensuring compliance with NHS contractual requirements, CQC standards, clinical governance, safeguarding and relevant national and local guidance.
- Leading and contributing to quality improvement, audit, significant event reviews and medicines optimisation.
- Supporting the education, training and supervision of GP trainees, medical students and other healthcare professionals.
- Working collaboratively with practice staff, Primary Care Networks and wider NHS/community services to improve patient care.
- Contributing to the long-term sustainability, development and effective running of the practice as a GP partnership.
Includes all the usual duties of being a GP. Opportunities for additional roles/development- particularly care home management, Minor surgery ,Women's health including contraceptive care etc
Our Fell Cottage team is varied and includes Partners, Salaried GPs, ANP, Senior management team, Nursing team, Pharmacy tech, Trainees including GPs trainees, Foundation Drs, medical students as well as Nursing and Pharmacy students. As well as our excellent reception and admin team
We have a great atmosphere of learning and support and meet daily for coffee (which we never miss!). We value our work life balance and strive to support that for all of our staff.
We want to take on a new partner due to retirement and would want a commitment financially to join after a period of working with us for 6 months. (can be flexible and can be discussed)
We are flexible on sessions and have some partnership perks!
