General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience

Provide appropriate medical leadership

Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs

Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems

Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service

Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice

Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service

Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery

General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience

  • An experienced doctor with GP accreditation
  • Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
  • Experience if working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres
  • Record of on-going CPD and learning
  • MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance

Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care

Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively

Partnering Health Limited has an exciting opportunity for a General Practitionerto join the team based in East Barnwell Health Centre Cambridge. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis.

Contract - Permanent

Hours - between 8.5 and 25.5 per week

About the General Practitioner role

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.
