As an independent charity, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care tailored to the needs of each individual.

Skills and abilities
Essential
- Demonstrable skills and experience in maintaining accounting systems Excel skills with demonstratable experience
- An understanding of the principles of Information Governance, confidentiality and data protection
- Ability to prioritise duties and rank tasks and work to tight deadlines Excellent communication written and verbal
Personal qualities and attributes
Essential
- Approachable, motivated and enthusiastic and willing to help and support others
- Ability to manage time, plan workload effectively, be self-motivated and meet deadlines
- Prepared to undertake any further training and development that may become necessary for the role
- Excellent organisational skills
- An empathy for the Hospice values and mission
Qualifications and experience
Essential
- AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent experience
- Accounting software experience or similar
- Previous experience of providing finance support in a multidisciplinary environment
Desirable
- Experience of working in charity finance
