Job description
We are seeking to recruit a full-time Facilities Assistant (cleaner) to join our team at Department of Psychiatry, Kings Drive, Eastbourne, East Susse...
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards ofenvironmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.
We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the importance of adherence to infectionprevention and control standards at all times.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinatedagainst COVID-19.
Duties include but are not limited to
- vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internalglass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor cleaningusing machinery etc.. In addition the role will require some food handling to support the provision of the meal service for patients in our care.Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
