To provide operational HR/organisational development consultancy services across resourcing, medical staffing, service redesign, workforce remodelling, change management, employee relations/legislation, terms and conditions and employment policy/procedures.

The Employee Relations Advisor will

  • Provide complex HR advice, support, guidance and facilitation on a broad range of operational HR matters.
  • Undertake casework, including complex disciplinary, sickness, grievance and performance management casework.
  • Support the Human Resources Business Partner in the planning and implementation of HR and organisational development strategies within designated areas and support the implementation of specific corporate human resources/organisational development projects as set by the Director of People and / or the Head of ER/ Business Partner

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

Person Spec

Essential

  • CIPD qualified or part qualified (and working towards full qualification) Evidence of CPD
  • Experience of dealing with employee relations issues
  • Able to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation both verbally and in writing

Desirable

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships
  • Highly motivated
