DBS Level Required: Enhanced
We have an exciting opportunity for a Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team based at the St Georges Urgent Treatment Centre, working variable hours across a 7 day rota. This is a pivotal clinical role within our urgent treatment centre.
We are seeking an experienced emergency nurse practitioner to join our friendly well-established team. This role provides the opportunity to work autonomously as an independent healthcare practitioner within a minor injuries unit. Delivering a high quality of care across a range of agreed age groups and presenting conditions.
You will utilise your advanced clinical skills undertaking patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, onwards referrals where appropriate and safe discharge. Managing both minor illnesses and undifferentiated injuries.
Rates vary depending on the time of day worked:
- In Hours: £22.77 up to £24.03 per hour depending on experience Monday to Friday, 08.00 18.00
- Out of Hours: £29.60 up to £31.24 per hour depending on experience Monday to Friday, 18.00 08.00 and all day Saturday and Sunday

Hours & Working Pattern
St Georges Urgent Treatment centre is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between the hours of 08:00 to 23:00 Please note: our rota operates on a 4-week rolling basis to meet service demand

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current NMC registration
- Advanced clinical skills to undertake patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, onwards referrals where appropriate and safe discharge.
